Carriage House Thrift Shop

Starting Saturday, June 27th

the Carriage House Thrift Shop

will be open for its second year of business!

Saturdays, 11am to 5pm & Sundays, 12pm to 4pm

Our beautiful carriage house from c. 1890 underwent a major restoration project in 2018 and now is the home of our Carriage House Thrift Shop. The Shop will be open every Saturday from 11am to 5pm and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm until October 11th. The first Sunday of every month will see our vendors expand their wares throughout the yard with our Carriage House Flea Market which will be open to the public starting at 9am until 4pm.

Inside the Shop will be a wide variety of donated goods and consignment items. They include hand-made jewelry, home furnishings, vintage clothing, ceramics and vintage objects from all periods.

We are currently accepting items to sell in the shop. You can either donate the item to us and if we do not need or want the item for our collection we can sell it in the Thrift Shop or you can give us an item to sell on consignment. To see if your item is right for us or to get more info about the consignment process please contact Sally Van Allen by calling (631) 283-2494 ext 600 or by emailing

Due to all the concerns with COVID-19 and trying to be as safe as possible we have put some protocols in place to keep both the Staff of the Southampton History Museum and the public safe. Upon entering the Thrift Shop everyone will be required to wear a mask and sanitize their hands. We will also only allow 10 people at a time in the shop, this includes guests. Guests outside on the property are not required to wear masks but we ask that you respect social distancing guidelines. During our Flea Markets on the first Sunday of every month each vendor's space will be set up with a border of, at minimum, 6 feet away from one another and vendors will be required to wear a mask while interacting with the public. We are staying vigilant and will change our protocols as needed to keep everyone as safe as possible.
