at the Southampton Intermediate School Music Room
70 Leland Lane, Southampton, NY 11968
This year we are asking for $255,000 so that we can continue the work we have been doing for more than 120 years. We will put this money to work by:
continuing to grow our online programs
maintaining our 14 historic buildings & 3 gardens at our properties
offering FREE school programs on-site and in classrooms
providing FREE admission to all education events
Curious about the types of education programs that we offer to schools and camps?
Interested in education programs for people of all ages, not just children?
You can also visit our YouTube page HERE to view some of our past programs.
We also post loads of free content to our blog on a weekly basis which you can view HERE.
What are we doing to foster historical education and youth engagement this year so far?
We have 4 canoe tours planned for this year that will focus on the indigenous history of our local waterways lead by an indigenous educator. These programs are free for kids 12 and under and you can RSVP for the first one HERE.
We also have various other programs like scavenger hunts, virtual tours, nature hikes and will be adding even more as the summer rolls on (many of which are FREE) which you can see HERE.
The Southampton Youth Association's Summer Camp as well as the Parrish Art Museum's summer camp have already booked days with us this summer to take their campers back in time with some of our education programs.
Our Director of Education is a member of the Southampton Village Youth Task Force helping to create educational programming throughout the Southampton Village.
And we as time goes by we are always working to add more and more to this list!
Have an idea for something else we could be doing?
Feel free to reach out to our Director of Education Connor Flanagan with your idea and we will see what we can do!
