About the Event
Join us for a powerful and heartfelt program that brings history to life through the voices of those who know it best—the children of Southampton’s World War II servicemen and women. As part of the Homefront to Battlefront: Southampton During WWII exhibit, this event offers a rare opportunity to hear deeply personal stories passed from generation to generation.
Discover the heroism, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served overseas and on the home front, as their descendants share memories, letters, photographs, and cherished family anecdotes. These stories honor the courage of Southampton’s WWII generation and remind us of the enduring impact of their service on the families and community today.
Experience history in a personal, intimate way—and help us keep these legacies alive for future generations.
