About the Event
Three of the Southampton History Museum's unique historic sites in Southampton Village will be open for SouthamptonFest, featuring 14 buildings with displays that span 400+ years of local history, as well as the Nugent Carriage House Thrift Shop and a pop-up exhibition at Veterans Memorial Hall.
Homefront to Battlefront: Southampton during World War II a special pop-up exhibition by the Southampton History Museum, shares the stories of the men and women from our local community who played a role in this historic war. On view at Veterans Memorial Hall, across from Agawam Park at 29 Pond Ln, Saturday, October 4, 11am-4pm. Presented in cooperation with the Village of Southampton, the Village Commission on Veterans Patriotic Events, and the Southampton Cultural Center.
The Pelletreau Silver Shop (built ca. 1686) at 80 Main St. is open October 3-5, 11am-6pm, for tours and jewelry-making demonstrations with the Southampton History Museum's artist-in-residence, Alyssa Saccente. The rear…
