About the Event
Eighty years ago, one of the most devastating conflicts in world history, World War II, came to a close. The sacrifices were immense, and nearly every Southampton family was affected by this monumental conflict. The Southampton History Museum's new pop-up exhibition, Homefront to Battlefront: Southampton during World War II, shares the stories of the men and women from our local community who played a role in this historic war.
Homefront to Battlefront: Southampton During WWII will be on view at the Southampton Cultural Center, 11 am–4 pm, on December 6th and December 13th!
As part of this exhibit, we want to hear about and preserve your family's WWII history! If you'd like to share it with us, please fill out the form at this link so we may reach out for further information: https://forms.gle/mmkrFYD1v5XwPFw69
The Southampton History Museum is especially grateful to the Village of Southampton, the Village Commission on Veterans…
