About the Event
Every summer, the streets of Southampton fill with red, white, and blue as the community both here at home and visitors come together to celebrate our nation's birthday. A Southampton tradition that has been celebrated for 105 years, the parade continues to be the heartbeat of Southampton’s Independence Day celebrations!
This year, the parade commemorates a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, America's 250th birthday!
Keep an eye out for our "float" as we roll out in Museum Trustee, Bob Beck's, 1931 Model A Ford Sport Coupe. The Southampton History Museum is proud to be a participant in this year's parade!
Find yourselves a great spot to watch from as the parade route begins at Railroad Plaza, down North Main Street, to Main Street and Jobs Lane. The parade ends at the review stand by Monument Square at Agawam Park.
